Made a special trip with my grandson for the onion rings I remember from growing up in Mound. Only to find out they are literally crossed off the menu and no longer available. Root beer floats were fine.

I’ve been wanting to try the drive in for the past year, but had not had the opportunity. We tried over the 4th but they are closed on Mondays. Foiled! We made it tonight and we were disappointed in only one aspect:,the shakes and malts are too small for $6.59 each , I expected more than 12 ounces! Otherwise the food was great. I heartily recommend this place and we will be back!

I agree with another recent poster (C. Haight) that the ground beef did not taste great or seem fresh. In fact, had I read the restaurant's snarky tesponse to that review prior to my visit, I wouldn't have gone at all!! SO unprofessional. The buns are great and server was polite. Our malts had barely any malt powder in them. And we were charged $2.50 for three bites of cole slaw. $55 for three people total (no drinks just ice cream, burger, fries).

Great shakes, ok burgers, good chicken. But Damn they dropped the O.rings. The best o.rings around. I'm done eating here. I'll go to Culvers for good everythings. Sorry.

The big gathering is usually Thursday night. But you can see them their occasionally any day of the week. Some usually on the weekends of it's a nice day.
Hi Marie, Our employees are wearing gloves. The kitchen employees wear gloves constantly and wash their hands between glove changes. The fountain employees wear gloves when they have contact with the customers. Anyone else working inside pouring drinks or making ice cream are constantly washing their hands. The Hennepin Cty Health Dept does not require us to wear masks. We have them available for any employee if they wish. Everything we have ever read shows that people who are sick are who should be wearing masks. Please let me know if you have additional questions. We are doing all we can to serve safe food.
We do not change the oil on a specific day. If business is really slow because of cold weather and we aren’t cooking a high volume it doesn’t need changing as often. If we are in the height of the season, it needs to be changed more often.
