Moved from Alabama to Texas, and this place is just like home. Everything on the menu is fantastic! This is the only place I go to for soul food.

I went there once but I loved it. Only reason I don't go more often is that I eat small portions. Took me two days to eat all that lol.

Love this place. Large portions, food is delicious !!!!!

No take out only and check your order before you leave, they forgot my pork chops and when I called them they tried to act like I was not telling the truth then when I came back the next day they only put pork chips in the box didn't add sides mind you I drove 35 minutes to come back again to get my food! Not Happy with service 😒

Madeas home cooking is rated no.1 in Fort Worth.If you dont believe it try getting in around 11a.m on Sundays ofcourse they carry a crowd everyday

I'm terribly sorry about your experience at Madea's but everything has always been delicious. I've had the smothered chops turkey wings smothered and although I've never had the Mac and cheese the sides I've had have been delicious. Perhaps you caught them at a time when someone was having an off day. I'll be having their oxtails on my next visit and I sincerely hope that you give it another go before just writing them off completely.

Their menu has never changed that I noticed all the times I been there. Fried chicken, fish and pork chops, pork chops and chicken smothered in gravy if you like. Collard greens, sweet yams, chicken tettrazine (didn't spell that right), hot water cornbread or soft buttered rolls, mashed potatoes or rice. Awesome desserts as well. I know I'm leaving something off, but these dishes are always available when I go.
