I don't recommend it to anyone contacted me a woman by the name of Katherine she said she was from the bidding service and wanted to buy my collection of coins that I had announced, they did an evaluation and offered me a reasonable value so I accepted, then she started asking me to pay some fees for the agreed amount to be delivered to me I always analyzing carefully everything was right, when I made the payment of the last fee she disappeared she blocked me on ZAP she doesn't answer my emails they are a fraud don't get on their bandwagon it didn't hurt me I have all their notes and email I'll take them to court And always the same things I saw in the other comments they ask to get in touch through an email and they don't answer, they don't solve the problem and don't admit what they did I go to justice as soon as I prove they are guilty they will tell me pay with interest I believe they will not want this because if they think it is a company it would be Watch out for the scam

Heritage Auctions is a top-notch organization. I had a wonderful experience with my bidding and acquisition of an Ansel Adams photograph. The staff was extremely helpful with all of my questions.

You should be able to email them a picture and get a estimated value for the Buffalo nickel
Go to the ask an expert section of their website, ha.com, or call one of the Currency consignment directors. They will usually want you to email them a picture of your item to get a preliminary impression of the item's condition.
Visit on line at HA.com. You can ask your question there. Hope this helps and good luck.
Go to a coin shop that does appraisals. It might cost you about $60 per coin. Just make sure they tell you more or less how much they COULD sell for. Before you pay the appraisal. It wouldn't make sense if you go and appraise a $20 coin for $60. There is one in North Arlington I believe that does this.

Let me know when you sell. *wink wink*
They are worth something, in some cases, a lot. The coins need to be looked at to determine grade/condition, then if Heritage Auction's feels they fit for what they auction, they would be happy to work with you getting you the maximum amount...
if you think these coins are rare dates or rare because of their excellent condition, you might send to PCGS or NGC for grading, and then get appraised or sold through Heritage. You should check the dates and mint marks yourself online to see what kind of auction sales prices others have obtained recently
