Forty Five Ten

Dismissive of customers and exuding demeaning overtones. One should not have to prove wealth for helpful customer service, but as Asian Americans in Texas, a particular kind of social requirement still seems to be in place at Forty Five Ten. My mother (early 50s) came on a shopping day and was greeted with cold stares, lack of interest, and whitesplaining of designer brands (as if she did not know already, given the designer pieces she was already wearing) followed by a quick usher to get us moving through the store. She has more than enough designer clothing and has reached the point in her wardrobe to center her shopping on aesthetic, rather than designer name-only, priorities. She was not very impressed with the selections, and found snags on several items. While the interior itself was indeed well-designed and a beautiful space, the experience and staff demeanor left her feeling unwelcome. She ended up staying for less than an hour. With a culture change, we may come back again, but I do not see that happening in the near future. Felt the need to write this review given the negative impact left on her (a very successful physician with degrees from the top programs in the country).

Did not know the location was a historic place . Which was replaced by this Boutiqe. Unfortunately it’s sad . But My review only about the beautiful showroom and how professional is the staff . Every thing their is amazing off course very Pricy .

The staff were very professional and helpful, but I can't say my partner and I were impressed with the selection. It's at a very inconvenient location, so overall, it wasn't worth the trip
