Possibly the best Mellow I've eaten at outside of their flagship in Georgia. Denton is a cool place, definately a party town.

This is the 2nd time we've had issues with this location. The first time was on the last mother's day. There was some sort of staffing issue where we could sit but it would be an hour before we could be served and it was a complete ghost town in the dinning area. This time was yesterday at 5:30, the place was dead again and our server Karen must have been new or the only server. A mocktail from the bar came out 5 min before waters and a shirley temple. The pretzel appetizer was okay, except 3 pretzels were big, fat, and soft, while the other 3 were skinny and hard, clearly half the size. 5 minutes after we put our order in, the server comes back with " The burgers are too frozen to cook" so my 10year old had to pick something different. Then, after we went through that, they bring out our food with a burger. Okay, now we're confused. The burger was still pretty pink in the middle and they made a pepperoni and black olive calzone into a black olive and jalapeño one. Gorgeous calzone, I wish I took a pick before I sent it back for what i ordered because the remake looked like it fell on the floor when it came out as we were all ready to leave. It honestly looked like something a child made out of anger. It resembled Nothing like the beautiful wrong order, flat, mostly dough, and completely miss shapened like it was someones first time. I should've eaten the wrong order. One thing that wasn't a complete disaster was the Merry Prankster pizza. It was the only good thing about the experience. The server never asked us about our food or if we would even come back and we never saw a manager. Our dinner was so disappointing. Every other location has been a good experience. Having served and managed in the industry before we still tipped good ontop of our 82$ bill , but after 2 issues in the same year, we'll drive to the Mckinney location next time. Oh, and Marky Marks Good Vibration song played 6 times in a row before we asked the bartender to change it. We almost just walked out before our wrong food arrived.

Food was good as always, but service was horrible. After being seated, it took almost 10 minutes for our waitress to even acknowledge us. Mind you, we were 1 of maybe 5 total tables being occupied and there were only 3 of us at our table. She finally came and took our entire order (drinks, appetizer, and pizza). Another 10 minutes later, I turn around and see our waitress sitting and just talking to the kitchen staff and I had to say “can we at least get our beverages?” After bringing drinks and getting our appetizer, she never came back to our table. After waiting almost an hour for 2 small pizzas, I finally ask the other waiter walking around to check on our pizzas because we had somewhere to be and our waitress has done everything in her power to avoid our table. By this point, we had to take our pizzas to-go. We had empty drink cups as well. The saddest part is no one there seemed to have a single care in the world that their service completely suffered tonight. I will commend the other two wait staff members on shift were doing a great job with their tables but our waitress did not do her job whatsoever and we were her ONLY table, while the other two wait staff members have 2+ tables each.

Had the absolute worst experience here. After being told that our pizza would take about 30 minutes, it ended up taking over an hour with ZERO communication from waitstaff. And during this hour, our waitress didn’t check on us at all, despite my water being empty for 45 minutes of that 1 hour wait. The pizza was good, but it wasn’t “wait an hour with no drink and no service” good. Really disappointed.
