Sunday Street food at BT (วัดไทย) is always a treat. Many food stalls with street food from Noodle soups, made to order Basil fried rice, stir fried noodle. BBQ chicken, pork beef skewers. Traditional papaya salad made to order, curry dishes and one plate dishes to choose from. Many traditional desserts and ice cream are also available. Food vendors with dishes you may not find in any Thai restaurant. Cash only

An absolute hidden gem! The architecture is beautiful and you feel like you’ve stepped into Asia. The grounds are beautiful, so manicured and well tended, cute koi pond, nice buildings beside the main one and best of all: a Sunday pop up market for Thai food! Legit one of my favorite experiences for Thai food in DFW! Tip: go there early! We got there a little late so only got some lunch dishes, the boba and desserts and other counters/ stalls were sold out and wrapping up. Few picnic tables on the side too where you can sit and eat peacefully The whole vibe of this area is very zen, peaceful and benign. Highly recommend going here even if it is just to admire the architecture, the murals and the religious imagery of the Buddha and Hindu deities

My Mom loves going to the gardens outside of the temple to watch the fishes... los pescaditos de colores en el estanque de afuera. ;) you can always find, even in the middle of this savage summer, a few moments of peace and serenity at this place.

YES! Anyone can go, they are very welcoming.
I was an alternative Catholic altar server before Abraham takes Issac. Icarus and his friends came to close to Jesus Christ and people saw it wasn't good for witnesses to see them without us. The mogrel rubbed his on his box of chocolates in Bronx onex box!
I don't know for sure but I bet if you came in for open Buddhist service (on wednesday nights I think and ask after service they would probably help you somehow
You will need to take off your shoes before entering the temple.
It shouldn't be. They are very accepting. Good luck with your recovery.
Sunday is the best day to visit the temple from 9 AM - 3 PM. Also, there are food courts behind the main building where you can taste the local foods thai made by lay people.
Idk, I'm not a member.checkthe website
Yes, there is a statue. Pictures discouraged, but you could probably get away with it
Yes, I brought my husband who only speaks English. He said they have the chants in English. There's also a class for English speakers, I think it's Wednesday.
I'm not in Dallas anymore an I'm not sure if the times have changed, I believe you feed the monks at 11am then everyone else eats then chanting meditation etc. Best way to get solid info is to just call.. someone's always there 👍

Not that I am aware of. This is the place for pray and/or worship.
I saw a couple of weeks ago that they were repaving their parking lot. I asked one of the members if this was going to affect the Sunday food stalls and he said, "No". Unless something has changed....
