Camping over the 4th of July is always a great time!! Lots of activities for the kids. The golf cart parade was very entertaining. Enjoyed some ice cream and a lot of fresh air. Excited to come back next year.

Large campground. Landing, pool, large playground. Made up of mainly seasonal. 2 loops by the office are for traveller's. Office has ice cream, game room, and basic necessities. Owner is very nice. Quiet midweek. Clean restrooms. Grassy sites. Shade is hit or miss depending on the site and time of day. Good for groups as some sites face each other. Definitely will be back.

Called to make a reservation a few weeks ago, lady confirmed that they had a full hookup spot and took my information including credit card number. Thought we were set. Called a few days later about where to get a boat slip, guy answers the phone and gives me the number of the marina. Couple days later I get a call from the same guy telling me that they have been booked full for a year in that week and that I am SOL. Didn't give me other places to call or anything just left me high and dry. So now we are a week out from going and have to find a new place. Luckily Dale's on Lake of the Woods in Roosevelt had full hookup spots and an ONLINE registration system that assured us the spots were open during that time and had someone call after the registration was made to confirm. Definitely need to get a better system going so you don't have employees telling people you have open spots when you don't.

We LOVE Lake of the Woods Campground! This is our fourth year in a row and it's our very favorite campground. Between the pool, the ice cream, the marina close by, the laundry facilities and the spacious camp sites, it would be hard to pick a favorite aspect. The owners are so fantastic, friendly and helpful! I'd give them 10 stars if I could.
