I worked @ this mall's arcade back in late 70's - early 80's when it was called Collidescope ( not sure about the spelling there, it was a long time ago!) It was called Red Bird Mall back then & I think it was pretty much fully occupied. The arcade was a cool place to work; we had hip-change machines given out for solid quarters and a medium amount of cash to break down larger bills. It was a different time back then; I didn't feel overly paranoid to work there since we all kept all eyes on each other. Once our employee got ambushed taking trash out, he was OK for like 60 dollars. Across from big arcade was separate one for small kids and good 'ol Sbarro, next to corn dog & lemonade and Orange Julius next to us. Other side from Julius was pianos/organs store an then a record store!!! Heaven!! Not hard work except when we had to slide off glass & clean pinball.tables, they got really dirty. I worked a few other places thru school @/Duncanville, I worked as Easter Bunny
