I visit here every weekend! Not only lake but town itself is very beautiful and peaceful. Nice dining places and bakeries too.

Skaneateles is homogeneous-very much a high end finger lakes destination. The park is waterfront with a nice swimming area and this weekend host of an annual antique boat show. Fully restored boats from the 30’s through the ‘70’s. One amazing craftsman brought 5 of his incredibly detailed boat models, each taking 2000-4000 hours to construct. That alone was worth the trip. Lots of traffic, hard to park unless on a motorcycle.

As a "Park" its kind of a joke, there is nothing there but a lawn, 2 benches, and a war memorial. No picnics allowed no drinking No BBQs etc. However as a park itself it blah, but the view you cant beat! Its right on the water and crystal clear, and all the local shops and restaurants are in walking distance. it would be nice if the park had bathrooms or a BBQ area but as a whole its location and view are a rare combination.

The park has a beautiful view of one of the largest finger lakes. Was there for a antique boat show which was fantastic. There is also a tour of the lake by boat which is also fantastic. The boat trip was very pleasant, and wine and beer are served to your table.
