Went in around 1:30 am and was out in about 30 to 45 minutes. Others would do well to follow their example.

We came to the Hunt Regional Emergency Medical Center in Quinlan when my husband was in pain with a bone infection and we could not wait to see the doctor the next day. I did not know what to expect from a stand alone emergency facility in our small town but it was the closest and he was hurting so off we went. I did not give a lot of credit to a stand alone facility. In my mind, it needed to be attached to a massive hospital to be helpful. I could not be more wrong. The care we received at this ER was outstanding. We were in fast and quickly tended to. It turned out the problems my husband had would require a specialist and we would be transported to another larger hospital in Dallas but not before we were given all the testing, pain relief and care from Dr Brouder (goodness, I hope I spelled that right) and his excellent staff. Thank you to Dr Brouder, Stacy, Danielle, Ashley and Shanda for all the help- turns out we did go to Presby in Dallas and he ended up having surgery and is still recovering. You hope you never need an ER but when you do, you hope it is a good one. I am thankful we have such an outstanding place to go should we ever need it close to home in our little town of Quinlan.
