My family and I had a blast when we took a short visit here, would 100% revisit

Great museum for our 4 and 6 year olds to explore. Role play in the pretend supermarket, giant ambulance or mail office. Colour in dinosaurs among the fossils. Explore science with lights, marble runs and enchanting physics demos. Everyone wants to try the bed of nails. Great astronomy displays. Two courtyards let you make giant bubbles outside or play in the play park. Reasonable cafe with burgers, pizza, salads and sandwiches. Rancher history section was engaging. Interesting planetarium show.

There is so much to do here! We had the best time!! The kids really enjoyed the dinosaur exhibits and planetarium. There are so many fun hands on things for the kids to experience. Highly recommend spending an afternoon here!

General exhibit admission is: Senior (age 65+): $14 Adult (age 12 – 64): $16 Junior (age 3 – 11): $12 Child (age 0 - 2): Free
They have so many cool activities to do there!
I didn't roam around too much, but they did have a massive dinosaur skeleton assembled when I was there.
They have a limited number of wheelchairs available on a first-come, first-serve basis. They are free.
You can do it!!
They may be able to, though their curators may not always be available or on site. I would suggest taking it to a local university's paleontology department.
I haven't been there for a while but last time i was there you could re enter. I would ask management just to be safe.
You'd have to become a "member". Membership gives you free admission and other perks depending on the level you choose. You also get free parking and go through a shorter line to get in. We'll worth the cost of you plan on going several times in a year.
Adult prices range from $15-$21 and Children (2-18 years old) range from $12-$17.
No it's no longer free...
Yes and actually if you are a Bank of America card holder, you can get in free the 1st Saturday of the month!
No but if ur willing to walk a few blocks u can find free parking
Yes, though I don't remember how specifically. I recommend giving the museum a call in the morning and just asking. Anyone I've ever talked with is really helpful.
Yes, the museum does not allow firearms or weapons of any kind because of their on site Museum School and the fact that they are a host to many school field trips on a daily basis.
There's not a senior discount as far as I can tell. Adult tickets are $16 for exhibits.
It depends on if you add IMAX theater on. I didn't. I think I was 13.00- 15.00.
No, that display went out some time ago. The current display is the moon landing, and Alan Bean, the astronaut from Fort Worth.

As far as I know, they don't. https://www.fwmuseum.org/plan-your-visit/ticket-information/?gclid=CIDP9qDt1-ICFcG4wAodxoUMCQ
If you park in the museum parking its 10 dollars there is other parking around but be prepared to walk if you choose
This is a peer to peer question spot. We can only recommend. In this case, I would call them and ask.
This Museum participates in the: ASTC Passport Program - https://www.astc.org/passport/ ACM(with the Wonder and higher levels) - https://childrensmuseums.org/members/member-benefits/acm-membership I strongly suggest you consult these websites and your home museum's/destination museum's policies on reciprocal benefits before traveling. Pay close attention to the benefits and limitations at each.
Abbby is correct, but there are also some near the cafe. It's to the left after you exit the ticket desk.
I am not sure. We have a membership.
Membership had many levels starting at $75 at the most basic level for two people.
Suggest you actually call them to find out...
Gee thanks
Most of that could be found here:> https://www.fwmuseum.org/ Best times depends on what your looking for. Short lines or crowded atmosphere.
Only official service dogs are allowed in the building.
Contact them.No use asking the general public questions about something only the company can confirm
It covers the exhibits and planetarium. $15 adults $12 kids. The Omni Theatre is extra but very worth it. $8 adults $7 kids The Omni will last about 45mins. You can also get tickets online to bypass lines.
Yes they rent out the side rooms in the childrens activity center. Used to have the info on their website which is down at the moment. I looked into it for my daughter but dont remember the cost.
There's a little café inside the museum. It's over priced and not very good. Salad bar is OK. Can get really crowded and loud, full of little kids. There is some good places within walking distance though.
You can call the place and they will be happy to tell you what showing now.
The entrance is on Gendy Street between Harley Ave and W Lancaster Ave.
Not that I know of. I am a member, and have never heard of a deal like this before.
