Will auto zone do a simple diagnostic test for me I have an appointment with the dealer and don't want to be taken I have bought parts from auto zone in the past love there service

Yes they can run a diagnostic test for a check engine light and give you a printout of what codes are popping and what possible issues you could have but they will not reset it by law
