This is the place for fresh Mexican food in Colorado Springs. Orchata, menudo, fajita and homemade tortillas are all cooked from scratch and with tons of flavor. If you're in the Springs and craving Mexican fare; GO HERE!

Fajitas that's not the word for what I got served. It was cold, it was not cooked like fajitas are cooked, there was dark meat in it. It was disgusting. Maybe 4 pieces of chicken for 14.99? What a joke. The rice was ice cold, no tomatoes, no nothing! We will never come back to this place again.

Yes, all of their tortillas are basically made to order, both the flour and the corn varieties. It is one of the many things that make La Casita one of the most special home style Mexican restaurants I have ever been to.

I have been going to La Casita since 1986 when it was located next to I-25 and South Nevada in Colorado Springs, now is on 8th Street and highway 24. I wonder if anyone has had a bad experience there recently????

The food quality is poor, the prices are high and the staff and manager were not friendly. Our group hated our food. Will not waste our money here again.

We went to the one on 8th street Sunday April 21 2018 around 2 pm. The place was a mess all tables were filthy no where to enjoy our meal, the floor had food and trash on it, the trash cans full with slop and dishes stacked to be washed full of slop

No, sorry, the corn tortillas are not hand made. Just the flour, but they are very good, and made to order or made fresh within a few minutes of your order.
