Visiting family, I love the location situated perfectly in downtown Traverse City where's there's so many things to do on foot, like shopping, boating, the marina, fishing, Clinch Park and beach and so much more. I will say Traverse City's downtown has saturated itself with too many bars/drinking establishment's to the point of over saturation, sadly, but that has nothing to do with the Whiting, just my observation of how downtown has changed and not for the better. Be leary, Traverse City and Grand Traverse County police sit waiting for clientele to leave one of many drinking holes and off to jail you go if you're over the limit, it's hammer time with a DUI offense! Don't drink🥃🍷🍻 and drive.👎👎👎

Great if you love being in jail! Or solitary confinement, if thats your thing this place is great!!!!!!!!! Room was 90 degrees. technically “ a storage unit” lease because there literally was no escape window, but the room still came with a bed? People need to know that unless youre getting a window room you’re literally getting a glorified storage locker. No ventilation. No AC. Just a mini fridge that helps keep your room nice and toasty in these hot summer months

They are the only affordable studio apt in downtown traverse city. When rent for just a room is 600 to 800 downtown t this place is a steal with it being less then 500 but you share kitchen and bathroom.

Depends on what you want.. Range is 450-550
They are month to month rentals, so if you're approved, move in, and continue to pay your rent and oblige to their rules and regulations, you can stay for as long as you'd like, based on my understanding. I have a friend who has lived there for over a year
Yes, they do rent by the month. The first month's payment will also include a $100 key deposit that you will get back if you don't lose or break the keys, mostly because you cannot go to the hardware store and duplicate the key for yourself, and so many people kept losing their keys, so who knows. They only give you one key because only one person is supposed to be staying in each room.
