I have never had better service than with James C. Smith Fine Jewelry! My brother lost his wife, Lucy, three years ago, and lost his wedding ring as well. I visited my brother this spring and he gave me all of Lucy’s jewelry. I brought all the rings, necklaces, and bracelets in and worked with Traci S., who designed the most beautiful and elegant man’s ring, using almost all her diamonds and gold. Traci was very patient and listened to what I wanted to create. Her knowledge of jewelry and artistry is vast and she expertly fashioned an absolutely gorgeous ring! Thank you for your inquiry. We have an independent appraiser that comes here on most Thursday afternoons. Items can be dropped off at the store anytime prior to Thursday afternoon and can be picked up on Friday or anytime after. Payment is made when you pick up the jewelry. We receive the document the following Thursday which can be picked up or mailed.
