We enjoyed the beauty of the grounds, surrounding area and the friends we were there with (10 RVs). We didn't get the 50 amp site we asked for when making reservations and that messed us up a bit, but we made things work. We now know what sites to book and not trust the ppl on the phone. We didn't personally eat at the restaurant but went with friends while they ate. Big deal that you have to order at the counter, you're camping and lucky to have an over priced store and restaurant. No one complained about their food. The customer service was OK, the store and check-in customer service was OK. No one goes out if their way for you, but you're camping! We'll give it one more try to earn a higher rating from me.

The food/dinner, tamal (dry and no flavor) and nachos (cheap cheese), today, July 8th. 22, was a 5 out of 10: food just to fill your stomach if you are starving and there is nothing else to choose from.

Today we got to the lodge just in time to dump and fill. We pulled up at 4:50. To dump and fill closes at 5pm. They would not allow us to fill or dump bc they closed early. For no reason other than they just closed early.

We came in to just throw trash and use the dump. It was $25 to dump, which I think is pretty high. On a site to help RV’ers locate dump stations the cost was $10. Happy Jack would not honor that price. We went ahead and paid and you would think with them charging that much they would purchase water hoses that weren’t filled with holes and sprayed all over the place. The facility looked really nice though.
