We didnt visit the campground ...just the fire tower and overlook of the lake . The view was beautiful

A very quiet and small campground that is away from it all ! If there was a small band that wanted a great place practice and not disturb anyone, this is the place!!

The road to this site is very rough and takes some extra time if you don't have a high clearance vehicle. However, the site is gorgeous and worth the extra effort! The site is hosted by the Black Canyon campsite host and they were extremely friendly.

Great place for large groups, but make sure your vehicles can handle a slightly bumpy road.

It is not recommended that a car be used. Monsoon storms can make the road ruff with wash outs.
