Me and my friend would always come here for our monthly get-together but this time it was like a whole new restaurant was created overnight. The menu changed and the prices were RIDICULOUS. An appetizer pretzel is $14.50 ?!?! And there are zero food happy hour discounts. Restaurants are so quick to raise prices “due to inflation or COVID” but so slow to pay their workers more. I can only hope the servers are being compensated better. Me and my friend won’t be back.

It's been some time since we visited but we've eaten here several times in the past. While Gordon Biersch has never positively overwhelmed us, it was a decent enough experience. This visit was our last. Our server was polite and timely with water and taking our order. Refills on beverages were a little slow, but not terrible. I ordered the fried chicken sandwich. It was delivered with a miniscule bowl of fries. The sandwich had the potential to be delicious, the bun was very nice, and the slaw was excellent. However, the chicken itself was approximately 1/8-inch thick, there was actually more breading than chicken! (Wes breading, even though it was supposed to be beer battered) The floor manager was at our table almost immediately after my first bite, asking how everything was. I showed her the sandwich asking, "Is this normal, it's very thin?" She seemed confused and asked if I wanted it re-made, then proceeded to tell me they were all very thin. She simply walked away at this point apparently unconcerned that I was disappointed in my $14.50 sandwich with 15 cents worth of chicken. My wife and son's meals were adequate, but nothing to rave about. Her grilled chicken sandwich did have adequate portion of chicken. My son's pizza kid's meal came with double the fries of our adult meals. Honestly, the issue likely could have been resolved with more attention from the floor manager. I definitely DON'T recommend the fried chicken sandwich, but comping it or offering a substitute entrée would have likely made this a 4 star review.

The poke appetizer was delicious. The ribeye was very tasty! I would've preferred not having the cheese topping on the ribeye. That taste was overpowering so I had to scrape it off. But the meat itself was very tasty and perfectly cooked! The salad was good. The service was very slow.

Always good beer, here. We had a dark lager and a pilsner. Happy hour from 2-6 M-F is a great deal. $3 off pizza and apps and 1/2 off pours. We had the the BBQ chicken pizza. It was good, but a little burned and pretty skimpy on the chicken. Although they were short staffed, our server was fantastic.
