This place is awesome!! So much history all the way through modern fire suppression equipment. We’re in town for a convention and I could help but stop by they have trucks from all over but one is from our neck of the woods Staunton VA

As an old fireman, this place is a walk through history. Clean, well maintained apparatus of all ages. September 11 is remembered in a couple of moving presentations. Also houses walls of fame in many disciplines.

Yes indeed really fun, they have a children's section, and you can climb on some of the displays
The Hall of Flame has a fire engine built in 1725 in England by Newsham. The only one in the world.

Yes they do
Depends on how in depth you want to check out the various exhibits. Maybe 30 minutes-1 hour without stopping at the trucks for too long.
You are gonna want to take more than you think you'll need! Lots of cool stuff, hard to pass up.
We had a Groupon that got the 5 of us in (2 adults and 3 kids). The museum by the way is outstanding. Highly recommend going and telling all your friends about it.
No fragile equipment and no touching. They gave a very small children's area but not for a group
It's targeted more towards the 3+. I just took my 3yr old and wasn't much to do but dress up in a fireman's uniform and get inside a fire truck to take a pic or to interact with the truck a lil. But that's about it. But we still had a good time there. Lots of history.
I think I saw some and some electric scooters to ride on
My wife took a picture of the map, I already uploaded, please, look for it. Awesome place!
