We have stayed several times at this rv park and have always enjoyed the solitude. Last night was an exception as the camper next to ours had a rooster which woke us very early and continued cockadoodling until we finally decided to leave at 6:30 am. This was an awful experience and we are exhausted today as a result. We know this is not the usual and would hope the owner would screen out disruptive situations like this in the future.

My husband and I were returning home from a long trip out west. We happened upon The Creekside RV Park and were quite surprised. It is located about 4 miles off of I-40 but was well worth it. Our first night was so pleasantly quiet, the stars were beautiful and sitting outside listening to the birds was so peaceful. There are only four sites so no way to be overcrowded. Was neatly maintained and had full hookups. Clifton and Susan, the owners, were a joy to talk with. Hearing about the history of his land was quite interesting. They met us on the road and brought us in and helped us park. We were just stopping for a night on our way home but decided to stay two extra nights because it was just so peaceful. VERY Inexpensive. Stop by for a night…or three, you won’t regret it. 😊

Found this little gem on the internet. It was perfect for a nice peaceful night. Only 4 rv spaces but the setting is idyllic. We spoke to Cliff the owner before we arrived and we had the perfect spot for our 37ft class A. Definitely will stop in again the next time we come through Texas.

The Creek RV exceeded expectations. The site is extremely quiet and relaxing. Most days we had the place to ourselves with the exception of birds, bunnies, and cows. There was a cool wind always blowing, and the people in the tiny nearby town were lovely. Cliff checked in us to make sure we were okay, and always answered our calls and texts. We will be back! *full hook-ups *sites are level *street is rural and quiet *no wifi, but we had excellent Verizon and AT&T reception
