This is my first time staying at Maverick Ranch RV Park and I would absolutely plan a return trip the location was awesome great access to Big Bend national Park. The full hook ups are great, the pool is really nice, the views are even better. In the night sky is the darkest I’ve ever seen and it is amazing along with awesome sunrises and sunsets. Highly recommend this location.

This is a great desert night sky park. The staff are friendly and the food in the saloon and restaurant are great quality and tasty. The resort is busy during spring break. The Cottenwood market is great for any thing additional you need while here.

It's a little pricey but I think that's to be expected considering the location and the amenities. Pool, laundry, pickleball, ping pong, etc. The bathroom/showers were great, it's full hookups and the sites are very level. The Wi-Fi was a little sketchy. If you need to buy supplies or anything, expect to pay top dollar or travel to Presidio (it's a great drive).

Though the views within the RV park can’t hold a candle to those just a bit down the road, this lovely campground is well worth a visit. All building are in great shape. The sites are spacious, but with no privacy. Management was helpful and respectful. All staff members encountered at the campground and wider resort were also respectful. We will definitely return if in the Big Bend area again.

Easier to call them for availability. Chances are yes to your question.
We found the general WiFi sometimes a bit laggy, but when we went to the front desk and told them that one of our travelers had to do homework for college every day, they said he could get the office WiFi and work at the table in their break area, which worked great for him. Overall cell coverage was not good, so WiFi was what we relied on.
Absolutely,,we saw many there last week when we were there
Like Willis said, the resort has lodging. Terlingua also has several options just a few miles down the road.
I've seen people riding side by sides their this year. Be safe and call ahead.
I did not see any grills at sites, though the place started with individually owned sites so some of them might vary. But fires are allowed and most sites have fire rings. When I was there a few weeks ago there were high winds several nights, so we couldn't always have a fire.
I suggest that you call the office. Only they would have that kind if up to date info.
Yes, my husband and i hiked from the RV park for about 2 1/2 hours. Had a great time!
