Good service, honest mechanics. This reminds me of an small town shop that everyone uses because they trust them, but this is a modern and well managed shop. They’ve earned my business and respect.

I’ve been coming to Nexar Auto since before they moved to Fry Rd. I’ve brought my vehicle, my wife’s, my aunt’s, my brother’s and my father’s vehicles multiple times. 5 different brands of vehicles and they have never once been dishonest or tried to push on me a service I didn’t need. Their prices are very fair and EVERY job they do is thorough and great. I will never go to another mechanic ever again. If I could give more than 5 starts I would. All the mechanics are great and Robbie (owner) and Armando (head mechanic) are great at what they do and never do anything less than the best mechanical work.

While driving, the air may suddenly go from cool to hot; if this happens, it is an indication of car AC failure. The valve that sends the correct amount of refrigerant to the evaporator has failed. This may happen if the valve is blocked; if moisture is there, it will freeze the valve, which allows only a small path for refrigerant to pass. If the air goes hot from cold, your car's air conditioning needs to be repaired immediately. Instead of trying your hand at checking the valve blockage, take your vehicle to qualified, certified technicians. Nexar Auto Repair for all your AC repair needs

Friction in the engine and other moving parts can be significantly reduced using the right kind of lubricant. Here are some important lubrication services you may need. Engine oil Engine oil change depends on the manufacturer's recommendation and your vehicle miles coverage. Ideally, you should change it every thousand miles. The frequency of oil change may range from six months to one year. Grease Grease is a commonly used lubricant that is applied to the moving parts of the car. It helps in minimizing squeaks and groans that you typically hear in your vehicle. The application of grease delays the premature corrosion of the car component. Transmission fluid The transmission fluid also serves as a coolant. It is typically of red or green color; you can distinguish it from the other lubricant. This fluid is important to maintain the optimum performance in your vehicle. You can easily recognize lubricant leaks from your car because of its color.
Your car vehicle frame is called a chassis which supports its overall weight. Lubricating the grease fitting of the chassis is highly recommended to prevent any part from corrosion. Although modern vehicles don’t need lubrication because they are lubed and sealed, you may still need to take it for the car lube service in Katy, TX.
