My experience with this practice has been very poor from beginning to end. After an initial consult regarding a procedure, I was able to make it to the office and everything seemed fine. After waiting for the doctor, I was told almost immediately that the procedure was not able to be done that day and that I would need general anesthesia. While this is fine, there was no explanation given. When I asked, the doctor informed me that the procedure was simply not able to be done and that he would have the surgical facility contact me to schedule the procedure again. No further explanation was given, he simply walked away from me in the hallway. This pushed my procedure past January 1st which meant I now needed to pay my entire deductible for the procedure. My problem, not theirs, I was fine with this. The surgical scheduler never called and I finally reached out to them and scheduled it on my own. After scheduling the procedure, I was then sent a barrage of emails and text messages over the next few weeks, almost daily. Annoying but fine. For my next appointment with one of their PAs I was told that I needed an EKG and a urinalysis. When I asked why, she stated that she didn’t know and that it was ordered by the doctor. I had an EKG on file and had the results sent to Jersey Urology. Without surprise I was never able to see that they received it through their app or that the results were sufficient. On my own, I called and left a message to see if it went through. Eight (8) hours later I got a call back stating that they it was good to go. For my next appointment I was told that they had not gotten the results of my urinalysis and if it was not received by 4:00pm I would have to reschedule the procedure. I was also asked about the results of my COVID test. I informed the PA that I was never told I needed a test. She seemed very surprised and told me she would have the surgical facility reach out to me regarding that. Five (5) hours later and I still have not gotten a call. Unfortunately none of that would matter. I called medical records 5 times in the next two hours and left messages. Three (3) hours later I got a call back and I was told that the test needs to be sent out and it usually takes days to process, which I was never told. I still have no idea why I needed all of those tests prior to my procedure and no one seems interested in explaining that to me. I just called to cancel any remaining appointments/procedures and I shockingly had to leave a message. The communication and efficiency of this practice was absolutely terrible and I’m seeking other options. I would gladly spend more of my own money to ensure that I do not give this practice another dollar. Please reach out if you feel the need to defend your inaction and poor communication. To any consumers reading this, avoid this mess altogether.

Very disappointed and very unprofessional receptionist. You call them and they are very rude. They will take notes and leave it for doctors or nurse to be notified but they never get the message. When you call them again, they say, there isn't any notes. Very unprofessional . Wasted my 5 months with them.

Terrible customer service. Just try to call the office and speak with someone I dare you...impossible. Another time I received a phone call from the office (which I was not expecting so I was caught unprepared) asked the lady to hold on for a second and she hung up.

Dr. Wren gets 5 stars. Dr. Piskun - 5 stars. Megan should find a different way to make a living. I walked into the office 20 minutes late. But I arrived at the campus on time. The scheduler never told me I would need to know a suite number, and I did not know to ask. There are a couple dozen offices on this campus with tiny little signs that you can't see well from the parking lot. I parked where Waze told me and then started walking around looking for the office. A bit panicked (because I am aware of the strict lateness policy at Jersey Urology), I googled the number of the place only to be put on hold. While on hold, I tried Waze again. Waze sent me to NEW Jersey Urology (which is only a half mile up the road), who eventually sent me back to where I came from. I finally got a person on the phone who told me to find Suite 504. All of this after cutting out of work early and suffering Friday afternoon traffic through Gloucester and Camden Counties. When Megan finally did come in to see me, she asked me if I was actively bleeding. I don't know if this is specific medical terminology or what, but there had been blood twice during the day and I told her so. She evidently decided that did not qualify to her standard and made me reschedule. I think she just wanted to go home because it was Friday afternoon. Truth be told, so did I. None of this was my fault!! This woman may know the technical aspects of her job, but she has ZERO bedside manner. Empathy, sympathy, concern and fairness are all traits medical care professionals should possess. Megan showed none of these. If I end up having to go to the ER (which is what she told me to do after refusing to examine me), you will hear from me again. Meantime, you should fire this woman. She is making your practice look bad.
