My family and I love this park. The neighborhood surrounding is nice as well. There is a beautiful view in the early morning and evening. Be cautious of gators! So many turtles and fish in the water! The walkway that goes around the park is nice and wide so everyone can enjoy it. Plenty of parking and so many picnic tables spread throughout so you can have a lovely picnic! Just don’t forget to take what you brought with you and throw away your trash in the many trash cans around the area. There is even a small playground that is slightly covered by trees.

This early summer with my kids we spotted a baby alligator and there are so many cool turtles here. Nice park here. See my video alligator popped up.

Good duck. Good vibes. This one duck in particular (see photo, you'll know the one) - very nice. 5/5

Went to the dog park, little shade, small area for dogs to run in. Grass cut way too short so roots damaged. Lots of people didn't clean up after their dog even though they're were bags provided.

Yes.
I would imagine so being that its state law to have a fishing license if you want to fish. Unless you have big balls and don't care about getting caught without a license.
The rules are not specific but you can check with Texas Parks and Wildlife. https://tpwd.texas.gov/
There is salt water around it but has fresh water pond
Yes you can fish - no idea about the fish there - there are alligators on occasion usually small ones
No motorized vehicles allowed; including boats.
