We went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and had a large party of more than 10 people. We had made a prior reservation for the same. The restaurant accommodated us very well and sat our group in a separate section. There was live piano music. They had a complimentary bread service with olive oil and confit garlic to start us off. I ordered the scallops with risotto and my husband ordered the lobster ravioli which was topped with caviar. Both were really flavorful and freshly made. The textures were perfect and the risotto and sauces were really rich. For desserts we had the tiramisu and flan, both of which were delicious. Others in our group who were vegetarians also like the mushroom truffle ravioli and the pasta in red sauce.

Officially my new favorite Italian restaurant! A buddy took me here today for lunch and the good food, atmosphere and service was top notch on all levels. The owner was amazing as well. I definitely plan to bring my friends and come back!

Attended a meeting with 11 others in a private room for lunch. The menu offered was the complete normal lunch menu plus daily specials. Valet parking necessary and apparently complimentary. Breads offered were very nice with choices. Italian food but not typical, elegant and flavorful.

Overall the best Italian restaurant in Houston. There are other very good ones, none beat Sorrento for consistent quality of food and service.
