I recently “graduated” from Polishuk and definitely recommend them to anyone in need of PT. I began PT at Polishuk after tearing my ACL. It was my first time in PT so I had no idea what to expect. The staff was very helpful in preparing me for the post-surgical schedule and making sure I had appointments lined up so I could begin the PT right away. Dr. John Battles was my therapist and I can’t say enough good things about him. He immediately put me at ease with his calming yet humorous bedside manner. He was thoughtful about making sure I continued to progress physically while making sure he considered the recommendations from my surgeon. I think he struck a great balance between keeping me accountable for doing the exercises while making sure I didn’t do too much. Lauren was my exercise physiologist. She was very helpful in walking me through the exercises and keeping me on track. She and the entire team were always very friendly and made me feel like they were invested in my recovery. Thanks so much to John, Lauren and the Polishuk team, I could not have gotten through my recovery without you!

In preparation for a hip replacement, I started seeing DPT John and the staff. Very caring approach that’s strengthening my core and giving me confidence for my post-op experience. All three staff in the gym, Katie, Danielle and Alana, work well together and are all very attentive. It can be quite busy in the gym but I am most satisfied with the care and attention I receive. Hello, we do treat patients with piriformis syndrome and most treatments do involve soft tissue work. Our physical therapists are certified to perform this kind of treatments.
