I love this Park! The new(ish) covered exercise equipment for adults is a real plus. Can't beat it at night for a tranquil walk with the ducks.

Great place

Very nice park. Asphalt trail, fishing, Frisbee golf, kids playground, restrooms, ducks, ducks and more ducks, shade trees mostly on two sides. Parks department would do good to plant more trees by the waters edge and smaller pond. Easy access off 45 South and Beltway 8 and Genoa-Redbluff. Pets on leash permitted. "Alligator Possible" posted by the pond.

I don't work for parks and recreation but probably may help you. What's the question?
I have not caught any trout sents it has been stocked with trout why is that we have not caught any?
Yes si
Yes, but not in all the parke
How can we find the park rules? I didn’t see a sign that said no bike riding. I like taking my kid to ride her bike but I didn’t know we couldn’t do that.
Rainbow trout only in December they die off when the temp of the water rises higher than 70
I would call the city's parks and recreation department
You can not, there are only some benches to rest, but to live together there
3/4 of a mile
Didn't fish this time... just checking on the baby ducklings
There are fish but I am not sure of the types.
Maybe it went south for the winter? 😔
It is a beautiful and very quiet park and above all for families.,For fishing, games for children and a baseball park
No there are signs posted saying there could be alligators and to keep people out of the water. Nobody is allowed to actually get in the water
We didn't catch any. It was still fun
The fields are 🥎 fields, not ⚾️ fields for the league 🥎 teams (Fall & Spring) & the select 🥎 softball teams that have a contract w/the Pasadena 🥎 Association. Usually the fields should be locked & there is no way to enter them. The batting cages (2 cages) may be open, but the fields are usually locked up along with all the bases for each field.
Under 18 don't need a license. Over 18 do.
Last time I was there was in the spring and we fished for trout. So yes if you have a license you can fish.
They're public, not always clean
They're actually nutreas, we don't have beavers here
They just installed a sign about it but as long as you have a fishing license all State rules apply
In Texas a fishing license is not required for a person under 17 years of age.
Yes it is with fishing license. Search for tpwd cfl for more information on special regulations
No and no
They do have the baskets for frisbee golf & as stated, there's plenty of room for your own net.
yes you do need a license it’s not a texas park it’s a community park so therefore u do need a license u can purchase them at academy
u
I would not eat the fish the the streets feed into the water
There is a bike trail that runs from Crenshaw park to Strawberry park, very nice trail highly recommend but no adult bikes around the little lake.
I use plastic. Texas rig for bass.its a hit or miss consistently. Biggest I have caught there was a 4.5 bass.
Yes, you can fish here. No, you do not need a fishing license to fish in any state park.
