Posting this due to could affect someone else. My initial thought was I'm I being profiled? We all know gas price is looming so I've been commuting on my motorcycle to work these past couple of months. Normally, would be asked to stop by Rowes to get some odds and ends before coming home. We'll tonight I was asked to get some milk. Dressed in my uniform, backpack, Motorcycle jacket, helmet and water bottle slung around body. As I entered Rowes, young lady approached me and asked me to take off my backpack which at first I'm like say again. She repeated, I looked at a couple of customers and was like puzzled. I've never not been asked in the months prior to take off my backpack and I was appalled so instead of making a scene I just left cause I'm sure if a JSO officer was in my shoes I wouldn't be asked to take off my backpack after a shift to get some milk for their child.

I've been shopping in Marietta for decades.. Kelley's IGA, Food Lion and now Rowe's IGA.. Good local stores, all of them. Revision, April 21, 2022. They have really gone downhill in the meantime. I bought some items today, I bought a bag of dog food off a pallet, a brand I have bought here before, but this time I couldn't find a price tag anywhere. When I got home and checked the receipt, the usual price I paid had gone from $13 to nearly $18. I will give Wal Mart and Winn Dixie the bulk of my business from now on.
