I was here for about a year and this place is amazing the staff are so polite and welcoming the things they do for the residents are fun. They try to help everyone they can. I would recommend this place to everyone who needs shelter from 18 to 24 years old pls come and you shall see the benefits of living here.

They have a waiting list for 2 years. You will not be admitted and they'll just ask for your name and number. They are currently tearing down the residents place.

I had to stay here back in the mid 80's! I was in Houston and knew nobody and my original plans fell through the floor. A kind soul found me on the streets and took me there. I felt safe for the first time ever! They fed me checked out my health gave me a safe place to sleep and always had a wonderful staff and counselors to speak with. When I found my first apartment they had a ton of things for the residents to receive to help get them on their feet! Absolutely wonderful caring facility for young ones to get them started on their journey to be on their own! I surely would not be alive now if that 1 kind soul hadn't taken me there! Thank You Covenant House for the Love and Guidance and Protection while I was there and you all gave me the tools to live on my own! Blessings Be for them and their residents!

Just go to the shelter and apply in person. After that, they will send u 2 intake where you would finish the assessment/application process. Then they'll provide food and things you need. As well as a spot to sleep for the night. They do this every day for new clients.

Yes they are open. But they have certain times they take people in. But i would be there very early if your trying to go in the program about 6:30am to be safe that way you got action on being first or top 10
No animals allowed on the property, sorry buddy.
Beds no but we can sleep people that have never been in our shelter ,we can sleep them on the cots that we have all the time

Intake they sleep on mats not mattress and in the Program they sleep beds but you have to b in the waitin list to get in the Program!
If ILP stands for Individual Learning Plan I would have to say no . They provide shelter for young adults 18-24 and even those with children such as yourself whom will also get 1st priority for space. They will work with you to help you get your life on track and they're will be certain expectations you will need to abide by.

Girl I have been there in Intake Buildin they dont help you have to draw a number to get a number to stay for a nite! If your new for Cove you can stay the nite without draw a number cause your new there! But in the Program get a caseworker they help you and stay in for sure!
