Excellent tour to ride your road bike.

Great for biking, walking, and running. If you have kids, might be a little careful and make sure they are wearing helmets. I have seen many fast bike riders that were very considerate.

Omg !! I love this park. I always feel safe here And always leave nature an offering here!! Natural (biodegradable) food for the wild life and my deities 🤎💪🏽✨🥹🐝

One of my favorite parks locally. Plenty of parking off beltway 8 and Highway 6. Like to of shaded section along the paths. The paved/cemented trails are shared by cyclists and runners/walker, while the dirt paths are primarily for walkers. A few water fountains which my pups use regularly for a water break. Great bike/hire trails.

yes. I see several places where people go to fish. By the reservoir damn. The under the bridge at belt 8, and there are some good paths down to the water on the section near hwy6. A guy told me it's mostly river catfish. Good luck.
Not around the whole trail. But up by hwy 6 around that hill by the car dealership I think it's like 6 miles
+/- 6.3 miles from beltway 8 to hwy 6
There is a pond close to Highway 6 and Briar Forrest. It is in George Bush Park. Terry Hershey Bike Trail leads to that area if you go west, and then south after you go under Hwy 6.
