Primarily, it was the staff. Our maid was a very hard worker. Hector is, I believe, maintenance, and I have seldom met a nicer, more willing-to-help person in my life. Ron at the front desk went above and beyond in kindness during our 2 week stay, when we fell on hard times. As for our room-#252-the bed is beyond comforting to sleep on, and the pillows were a perfect combination of 2 fluffy and 2 flatter. You have to show a little love to the microwave, but who cares? I feel very blessed that I felt safe here, and so does my son. I highly recommend this establishment.

Do not get a room here facing the North towards to street. There is an on ramp to freeway right outside your room. Loud traffic to wee early hours. Hard to sleep if you have to get up early to catch a fight. Staff is awesome though and shuttle driver is top shelf. I would stay here again but in a different room away from highway.

Lobby looked really good but as soon as I walked into the room it was disgusting, bedding looked stained, there was an unpatched hole in the wall and room stank like cigarettes terribly. Couldn’t stand to be in there. Definitely needs cleaned and some remodeling would be great
The Cook's Family
The hotel smelled like cigarettes, 3rd shift lady was nice, I heard slamming doors until 3am, the juice both orange and apple juice was out, the pancake machine was not working properly so we decided to go out to eat, the windows are dirty in the breakfast room, the carpet in the hotel was disgusting, alot of trash was still out in the hallway when we got there at 11pm The room was plain but okay. The atmosphere was odd. The lady being nice is the only reason I gave a two star.

Typical continental breakfast. Cereal, waffles, bread, muffins, hard boiled eggs
Inside the Marriott Spring Hill if you just need the typical snacks or toiletries. If you're driving exit out the back of the hotel which runs over into the Holiday Inn (has good cinnamon rolls) parting lot (since you can't turn left on Kellogg) this will allow you to take Irving Street which is a dirt road for very short jaunt and you will find yourself in the back portion of the Marriott parking lot, you do not have to be a Marriott guest to buy things from there. Gas is available in the Sam Club parking lot on the other side of Kellogg. Also as a suggestion make a trip down to the Marriott in the morning around 8:30 and take advantage of their insanely nice breakfast. It's by far the best in Wichita. If you're worried about the staff saying anything just pretend to be def or something.
