Man, I don't know what everybody else was smoking, but this place was deeply disappointing. The chowder was gloopy, floury and bland, and the gyro was on par with a frozen dinner. The service was excellent, no faults there, but the food was sub-mall quality and left us both feeling extremely queasy. With the prices here, you'd still save money driving to the mainland to visit a better place. Update: Both my partner and I have pretty severe food poisoning. I truly have no idea why this place is rated so highly, but if this is one of the most well rated places in Galveston, then may god have mercy on our souls.

Great, they have a bar but no hard alchohol. That doesn't make sense to me.

Save your money, spent about $250 on dinner and was disappointed. Food was bland to say the least, I bought 2lbs of spicy peel and eat shrimp that were served in a pink purée that made the shrimp mushy and added no flavor, purchased a shrimp platter and the French fries were the best part, purchased 1.5 lbs of spicy blue crab and they were bland as well, purchased 2 grilled red snappers and they were okay with the exception of the sides, the cajun rice was dry and appeared to be from previous day. We thought we would get better seafood because we were near the gulf however we were wrong. I am sure there are better places in Galveston to enjoy good seafood. I would not revisit this establishment. Save your money and a headache from disposing of the majority of the food.
