We went for a day trip and first off the park rangers were so darn nice and the spots are pretty big and you can smell the pine trees, we will go and visit again

Campground was nice but I have it 3 starts because I paid for 2 days and then had to leave after first night. Campground host wouldn't refund my money for the day I couldn't camp. Also, showers were closed but not the bathrooms due to Covid but I don't see why you can go to the bathroom but not take a shower. For $25 a day I think you should be able to.

Great campground. We were in a motor home. They have bathrooms, showers (closed right now due to Covid), fresh water but not at the campsite - you have to drive to the well water and fill up your fresh water tanks but not a problem for us. Dump station is available. Our site was pretty level. I believe all sites have a firepit with a fold-over grill and most sites had a picnic table. They sell bags of firewood and ice. There is a small store within walking distance to pick up supplies. Most of the sites have tree shade. Very easy to park your rig. The highway was in earshot but it doesn't get a lot of vehicles on it except during "rush hour". We would be there now except we have a possible exposure to Covid so we are isolating at home.

Was a really amazing place to stay for the weekend and get out of the heat. I prefer thicker forests but its perfect for the kids and my dog absolutely loved it. They sold ice and fire which helped, other wise its 20 minutes to the nearest town, Eager. But even when we did go to town it was so cute. We also hit up the river reservoir which was beautiful 😍. Although we didn't catch anything its a pretty popular spot for trout and crawfish. Anyway super amazing place and we will definitely be back.

Yes, we saw several in the campground.
Yes they are open
Yes they should be and they're clean
There are vault toilets, no running water toilets. There's running water outside of the restroom. Shower is not open as of October 2020
AT&T was not good. Verizon worked but was not strong and would drop out sometimes. The signal seemed to be worse the farther away from the entrance you went. There was good service about a quarter mile down the road towards town.
Yes according to the host.
There's a section that is & many spaces you can reserve. We stayed last weekend in spot 49, it was great.
I believe Pets must be on a leash.
Yes the season ends Oct 28
