What a fantastic experience visiting Calistoga! We enjoyed the mud bath and massage. There's a lot of history and natural science.

Mineral pools, massage, mud baths . . . Calistogaaa ; ) Such a lovely visit. This hotel is just a few minutes walk to downtown shops and restaurants. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Room was very comfortable but a bit dated. Plenty of nearby parking, grounds are lovely, and massage at spa was excellent. Highly recommend!

The room and hot springs are nice. Here are the issues I encountered: Food accessibility: we arrived on a weekday. Unfortunately our flight was delayed, and then it took a long time to find an uber that would drive us from the airport to the resort. By the time we got into our room at 8:30pm we realized all the remaining restaurants in the area closed at 9pm - even the grocery and convenience stores were already closed. No doordash in the area. Luckily we rushed a takeout order at the last minute before going hungry for the night. No elevator: Had to lug our almost 50lb suitcase up a set of stairs to get to our 2nd floor room. Spa reservations: I arrived thinking I could check in and make reservations for the spa simultaneously. The front desk doesn't allow you to make spa reservations, and the spa lobby is closed, so you have to call. I called and got through on my 4th try when they told me they have zero available appointments during my stay. Ok, I'll just go to one of the many other spas in the area. Wrong. All the other hotels reserve their spa for hotel guests only. Guess I should have booked with them instead. Transit: I managed to find an uber to take us from Santa Rosa airport to the resort, but not any uber/lyft to take us back. Asked the front desk for recommendations and was told there are no taxis, shuttles, or buses to take us there, and I could try finding a bus to Napa and calling for an Uber there. It seems pretty much everyone assumes you brought a car with you. I ended up calling a taxi from a nearby town and paying an upcharge for them to drive to Calistoga to pick us up.

Yes, we offer 100% natural geothermal water in each of our 3 pools. The large outdoor pool provides temperatures between 92-96 degrees F, depending upon the outdoor temperature and season. Our smaller outdoor Jacuzzi pool is a constant 103 F and our indoor pool is set to 100 F.
No, we do not have a fitness center on-site, however, we do have local recommendations within walking distance from the resort.
Our spa, Baths at Roman Spa, offers mud baths for both individuals and couples in private setting for two.
Cliff, Napa County Health Dept requires the use of chlorine in all our public pools. We keep the levels to the minimum allowable. Our public pools require swimwear, we are not a clothing- optional resort.
No you cant. If you use the mud baths they can give you a day pass
We can connect you with local wine tour operators who will be happy to customize your experience.
Yes, go to the website, look at managers specials, I suggest the mid-week spring into summer package seems to be the best deal. Only place we stay . Ask for room 114, I think
