Somehow getting blown away with Santa Cruz breweries. This was the second one after humble sea and their brews just amazed me. Didn’t get to taste the food as I arrived late but I met the chef ! Black lager was superb, Kolsch was refreshing and uncle Dave was perfectly hoppy.

Great beers, good eats, nice outdoor seating. It doesn't get much better than that! Update, the kitchen is now being run by Sugo's Italian and is even better. Inside seating is back, too.

Currently we have a blackberry kettle sour called Bramble Ramble on tap. Another seasonal is Cruzerweisse (a Berlinerweiss) which is available several months out of the year. In bottles we have 2 barrel aged fruited farmhouse ales, a saison with Meyer lemon and a red with tart cherries. These are part of the Woodland Critters series of barrel aged sours that support the Land Trust of Santa Cruz County.
