Up til today, we were frustrated with the extremely slow, unresponsive attitude of Las Vegas Neurology. Happily, this changed today thanks to Jessica in Scheduling. I explained our problems to Jessica: A Psychologist and our Primary Doctor say my wife Carline probably has Lewy Body Dementia. But it evidently takes a Neurologist to finalize that diagnosis. I told Jessica we are not scheduled to see Dr. Balsinger(Neurologist) again til mid-April. Jessica did two amazing things: 1. She rescheduled Carline's final brain test(EET) from April to November 15. Then she moved up the Neurologist appointment to December 7. Jessica also put us on a phone list to be seen sooner if there are cancellations. Jessica epitomizes great Customer Service. Thisyoung lady deserves a raise!

Had a decent first visit (after months of waiting to get in). However, my Rx was not renewed as requested at my appt. Months have passed & my Rx is overdue. Can’t get ahold of anyone at the office. Voicemail always set to “after hours.” Their answering service said office is backlogged. So don’t expect to ever get your lifesaving meds renewed on time. Super pumped to have paid for an appointment and not have my migraine Rx I need! Migraine currently 4 days strong after a year without one. Thanks, LV Neuro! **update 7 months later: still a garbage phone system. Hangs up on calls or you wait HOURS on hold to speak to someone. Waited over an hour this time to speak to someone about the pharmacy waiting STILL for a preauthorization. Migraine city during allergy season. Haven’t had a migraine in 2.5 years because of the needed meds that I am now 4 months overdue. Person said they’d send a note back to the assistant- I had them assure me this was being done before hanging up. 2 days later, pharmacy still is waiting. Tried calling at open, system hangs up when you select the correct option. Horrible. Unfortunately, all medical systems in this city are like this so no alternative place to go and definitely not driving to a Neuro way over in Henderson.

I was scared to do the carpal tunnel nerve test for my hand pain and numbness and The Tech was so nice and made me feel at home and made the test go smoothly without any pain. Thank Roberto and front desk for all your help. Very friendly office.

Dr. Mahajan and his staff are so caring. If you need a neurologist, I highly recommend him.

I've been there several times and it's always WELL staffed. However, I am never able to get through on the phone either. Always some voice mail but never a person. The doctors are excellent, but they do need to work on their phone availability.
I don't think so. Some of the doctors work at hospitals also so they don't work there 5 days a week. So it depends on the doctor you have
Tricare For Life is secondary to your primary insurance, usually and almost exclusively Medicare (standard). Once Medicare pays the co-pays and/or co-insurance will be automatically paid by Tricare For Life. They are only primary for conditions that Tricare pays for but Medicare does not. This is very. very rare.
But sure if he does but the practice has so many great docs that I'm sure one of them might
I believe so.
