This is a review (read: complaint about the Marriott Store). I ordered a mattress and linens from the store weeks ago. I received the linens right away, but the mattress has become a huge headache. They ship or drop ship from the mattress manufacturer to a logistics company called XPO logistics (BTW, they rate a D- on BBB. Why my beloved Marriott would use a company rated a D- is beyond my understanding. Can you imagine a Marriot restaurant or hotel rated a D-? It would be crazy). XPO has now promised delivery to me six times - yes six and they have yet to deliver a mattress. They did show up once, but were an hour early - evidenced by my home security system, and promptly left, and missed me by 15 minutes. Marriott has now reported to me that the Mattress is actually lost and they have to re-order. I, or one of my adult children, has had to be at the house for a 6 hour window 6 times now. Marriott support has been good through the process, although I don't think they should refer me to a delivery service to solve my issue of non-delivery. This is a Marriott product that I bought from Marriott, and it is really not my problem to work out the delivery issues with the logistics company. The front desk staff would never ask me to complain directly to the house keeping staff if there was a problem in your room, they would just handle it. Anyway, if you live in N. VA, or MD or DC, I would recommend not purchasing a mattress through Marriott - you have been warned.

If I could leave no stars I would. I've had several cases open about my cancellation and now to find out my card was charged not only for my cancellation fee but also for the entire stay totally $1500 for 2 nights. Once on the phone with the customer service from Marriott international I was on the phone and they hung up on me. I call back and the associate once talking through everything told me to give it a week to expect a call back and then began to scream at me. I will not refer any colleagues or residents at any of my properties to any Marriott hotels going forward. Stay far away to avoid issues such as extremely inaccurate and unnecessary charges, terrible unprofessional customer service and manager and overall just a TERRIBLE experience.
