I engaged case for the first an only time several years ago for an expansion of my kitchen. We planned everything well in Advance and case completed the work generally on time. This was refreshing after my experience with many other contractors over the years. However my conclusion is beyond completing the work on time they are not worth the money because their follow up is actually terrible. We noticed numerous small items like poorly hung cabinet doors. Asking them to come by and fix something is useless since they either deny or deflect. I got over most of these minor nuisances over the years by having my handyman fix much of their work. However it regularly also rains in my kitchen now and I also have to redo the roof. If I have to redo all of these items that they installed then why pay a premium for their service. I wouldn’t recommend them.

Everything was top notch. Shaun and Bill (the crew) were very polite and careful to leave the work area clean at the end of each day. They were compliant with the Covid-19 protocols. The design and management crews were awesome as well.

We were so pleased with the job that Dave Vogt, Kwasi Hemeng, Neil Martin, and Pat Fagan did on our home addition. Over only four months, the CASE team built an absolutely gorgeous, windowed family room and powder room first-floor addition with a spacious, light-filled basement bedroom underneath. Although not the least expensive option out there, we were glad we chose CASE for the quality of the design and construction, as well as the customer service experience we received. Throughout the duration of our project we received thoughtful, timely written and in-person updates. As issues arose (and, really, only minor issues came up), they were dealt with quickly, professionally, and within budget. We felt comfortable with all team members that were onsite, and were able to live through a major renovation with relatively minimal disruption to our everyday lives. The project wrapped up ahead of time, on budget, and better than we expected - what else can we ask for? We highly recommend CASE and would certainly go back to them for any future projects that come up.

Case remodeled our powder room this spring and we are thrilled with their work. Kelly was attentive from the beginning, outlining the project and explaining the timeline, which was followed perfectly. Kay helped with design, Loren with supervision, and Bill Shaw was fabulous with installation. Bill was a joy to work with, a master craftsman, clear in explaining our options, always checking to see that we were satisfied and a delight to have in our home. We liked Case’s team concept; each member of the team was available if needed.

Can you update a bathroom, including shower, with handrails for a disabled person?

Dana Schaefer | Oct 27, 2019

Dana, we can certainly update a bathroom by installing handrails to make it more accessible. Depending on the scale of the project, our Fred Home Improvement division may be a better fit as they specialize in "Universal Design". You may visit their website for more information and to schedule a Remodeling Consultant: https://www.schedulefred.com/interior-projects/bathroom-updates/universal-design/

I am interested in converting 1/2 of my 2-car garage into a wood workshop. Is that something that you could (in Columbia, MD)? If not, can you commend an outfit that can handle his kind of project? Thank you - Manny
