I lived there for a while. Not a good memory. High staff turnover, the social worker was not a nice person. Rather hateful actually. Some of the other workers were really nice. No privacy. Salvation Army people could be overbearing. If I had to do it over again I would stay on the street.

There is no time just go and they do a application on you it's really good program to get your life back together and you three meals a day

Harbor house helped me get up when I was lost. It is a marvelous program if you work it. Those who truly want to get back on their feet can find the tos to do so here !

No, Only for Men. But The Salvation Army has a program for family's. I would call the chestnut location and go from there.

Yes, they can go to Safe to Sleep. They first go to One Door for an assessment.

3 to 6 months as long as there complying with the rules set forth on entering the program. They must look for jobs,see councilor once a week and other programs to help them getting back in a sober, stable life.
