Big thank you to the team of SIXT Downtown LA! My wife and I got a great and very comfortable BMW. We had a very enjoyable road trip during our weekend to Joshua Tree. Very good customer service. It was our first car rental with SIXT and it won't be the last, that's for sure! I recommend to everyone SIXT Downtown LA at 100%.

This is not a review specifically to the branch but to Sixt. Our van did not have headrests on the middle row which is very dangerous. We realized that when we were already somewhat far. Calling the support line is useless. Literally. Apparently there are no direct lines on the branches so not even the operator could communicate with them. After my 5th call of 25 min one operator told me to go back to the branch and they would give me spare headrests, guaranteed. So we rode 45 minutes back to the branch to be told that there is no such thing as spares and told us to drive to the freaking AIRPORT to get a new vehicle (availability not guaranteed). Oh and if we did that we needed to return it with the tank filled. The worst customer service ever. We wasted a whole day trying to get this resolved Update: also the tires were with low pressure so we lost a lot of time fixing it. We are foreigners and we weren’t used to how the air stations work here, where you need to bring your own gauge. It took us a while to figure it out and find a station that had them in stock
