I had a great experience at the Electric Pen. The owner Bo has an in depth knowledge of his trade with 25 years of experience. He worked with me to design exactly what I wanted.The prices were very reasonable and his work speaks for itself. I wanted a very specific piece as a tribute to a friend who passed and is derived from a classic film. He did some research and drew up exactly what I wanted on spot. His shop is clean and reflects a passion for his trade. I would recommend him to anyone.

I have been getting tattooed by Bo at Electric Pen for some time now and I am SO happy I found this shop! Everyone is super chill, the tattoos I have seen have all been clean and super dope and Bo himself is a really cool guy. He takes his time making sure the design looks perfect, is placed well and has really good ideas and suggestions as well! And, FOR ONCE IN LA, the prices are super fair as well.

I would give them a call as each Artist has different rates. Although I'd say $60-100, based on experience.
Also - depends on the artist. A more experienced and well known artist can charge a premium for their work. Best thing to do is go in and discuss what you want with the artist. Something small and real quick can be $25 - elaborate work taking several sessions will be in the thousands. Ultimately, a tattoo is permanent art on you - think of what you want and what it is worth to you.
