Goodwill of Southern and Central Indiana funds several education programs. They fund The Excel Centers in Shelbyville and Indianapolis, adults can earn a high school diploma and receive child care and one on one tutoring for free (excelcenter.org for more info.) They also fund a traditional age high school in Indianapolis. Another great program funded by Southern and Central Indiana Goodwill is the Nurse Family Partnership, this provides Medicaid eligible first time mothers with a nurse who comes to their home for the first three years of their child's life. Goodwill also pays their employees, many of whom have barriers making employment hard to find, fair wages and helps them increase their income through education and new employment opportunities. Goodwill employees are able to work with guides who connect them with resources such as financial assistance, housing, child care, health, education, and more.

Donations can be dropped off any time during opened hours. And some goodwill have a drop off box
