Nice little park, mostly flat walks in a few trail offerings. Creek easy access right off walkway. Gets a little busy on weekends.

No there is no dog park anymore.
I believe there is.
It's never closed just no playground equipment or basketball the trails have been open
I'm sorry at this time I do not know. My suggestion would be to check to see if they have an website with a phone number or Google it for a phone number and give them a call.
I do not remember seeing showers at the Park but you can rinse off in the freshwater stream the puppies loved it
I think there's a sign that outlines breed restrictions, and pitbulls are on that list. Sorry.
Dog park at Pioneer Park is closed for good do to flooding every year cost of cleaning it after words.
They close the parks at night
Im not absolutely sure when it was built, I've lived in Covington for my whole life I'm 42 and it's been there as long as I can remember. Im sure there's a sign there with the actual year
Last year I spoke to someone who was on their board. They don't want dogs in the water much less people. I was told it was full of bacteria & bad for man and beast. But it's true, kids and dogs get in it, and it's nasty. I've seen turtles, snakes, frogs and ducks in it Plus the ducks and the rest do theit business in the water.
This has to be real recent. We were there during and after the floods but all dog sections were up and being used.
