Great pedestrian bridge for walking, biking or running. They even allow you to rent it out for events! As a tourist you are able to stand in both Kentucky and Ohio at the same time. There's also a "locks of love section" about halfway down where you can leave your lock for all to see. Attaching anything to the bridge outside of this section is prohibited. There is riverfront parking between AMC & Hooters. The price is $5

We enjoyed our walk and dance along the Bridge celebrating our Anniversary and our Birthdays all in one. We met nice people from New York and Minnesota and shared taking each other's pictures. A Beautiful place to visit. The River walk is beautiful.

It was amazing. The views at sunset were incredible.

RAD pedestrian only bridge that goes over the Ohio River and connects Cincinnati to Newport, KY. It's a great walk and you can get spectacular views of the river, the cities, all while getting some exercise in. And it's free!!! Highly recommend! 💜❤️💯

August 2022...it's happening now! 💜
For the bridge - Its FREE! 😃 But to go 1 step further so that your trip can be completely free - near the entrances to the bridge (OH & KY sides) are a very limited number of places where you can park for free. I would suggest walking the bridge from the Newport, KY side. There are a bunch of free parking spots behind the Port Of Entry flood gates, and if those are taken (Ive never seen them completely full except on Red's game day) you can park in the Levee garage immediately next to the bridge for less than $5. The Ohio side is full of garages that charge upwards of $30 to park, if you can even find one with availability. And most likely you will have to walk a distance before you even get to the bridge.
The bridge connects Northern Kentucky and Downtown Cincinnati, depending on where you are coming from you can use Google Maps for live traffic and it will give you an estimated travel time. ☺
On Newport on the Levee or at Sawyer Point. Not on the bridge itself.
No
They were locked up when we went there last weekend
There's parking lots next to the bridge on Pete Rose Way.
Not anymore, the Purple People is pedestrian only. Historically though, cars crossed this historic bridge until 2002 when it was closed for auto traffic for good
Bridge is sufficiently lit at night but steps on Ohio side to Yeatman's Cove are dark so better to take ramp to 2nd St/Pete Rose Way
You can use google maps too determine the distance and how long it will take you, it also has live traffic updates
