A bit expensive for what it is. They slow you down a bit with a tour guide and someone who acts as a baby sitter so you don’t touch anything or record. I didn’t mind those things and it was decent tour. It’s not very exciting for children.

Great cave to tour on your way though Pennsylvania. We called about half hour before we were there to make sure they had room. We ended up with a tour guide all to ourselves. Cool cave with water and a great history. Rare Cave Flower formation too! Gift shop had great deals on all kinds of different rocks. Lapidary supply store. We did the mining sluice rock bags in the parking lot. Fun shaded activity and well priced. A+

My friends and I went yesterday, and we had Florence as our guide. Not only was the cavern itself an amazing experience, but Florence made it all the better. They were witty and funny and knew everything there was to know about the place (and even told us what the rocks would feel like, since we couldn’t touch them ourselves). This was truly one of the greatest days my group and I have ever had, and we had such a wonderful experience. AND we found out how a river can get lost!!!

What a cool place! We had such a lovely tour and really enjoyed our time in the cave. We didn't make a reservation so we had to wait 30 minutes for the 12p tour but luckily we were the only guests on it so it was just the two of us and the tour guide. I found it so intriguing that they don't know where the river flows out to but are positive it is completely underground. My fiance said that he enjoyed this cave much more than crystal caves because of the river. Also the gift shop had so many neat AND reasonably priced items.

Crystal caves are definitely worth it....lost river is cool but its a very very short tour.....its been awhile but i think the CC were about an hour...LR was maybe 25 minutes...both are good but id put your money on CC.
Sorry no laser guns
Because it is underground and has a river of springwater running through.
There is no boat. It is perhaps the wetest cave I have been in. I was dripped on several times and there was water under a board walk. They could be not determine where the water comes from and where it goes. During a dry spell, someone crawled into the dry end where the water usually flowed and they could not find the end.
Yes they are open today
A wheelchair may be fine, its very smooth, the walkway is paved but can be very steep, it is wet, some spaces may be too low, shortest ceiling i think is 5 ft 1 in. Reservations should be made for tours.
When I went I called ahead to set up a "reservation" its more a courtesy then because they get booked up
Nice place on a rainy day... good as a stater cave... very small..
Inside definitely not unless a service animal. The cave has some spots that are a tiny bit tricky and I wouldn't want to bring an animal into it. Outside for the trail and other activities is say yes, just don't leave your pet in the car to go into the store/cave area.
They sell gemstones and unpolished stones too in their gift shop.
Guided tour inside in cave by time, outside walk as you pleased.
Quince dollars
The tour guide said they no longer home weddings because it was harming the cave. However, you get to see the old wedding spot. It's very small but beautiful.
Good family outing
