I came on Saturday when it was a half off everything in the store sale. It was busy. Lots of items. Long line to pay.

A great thrift store

We've been to this store twice now looking for furniture. They have a decent stock of items and the prices are fair. The store, both times, has been an absolute hazard to maneuver around but that comes with the territory. During our first visit we were delighted to find some nice, cheap, blankets and they were running a sale! We waited in the hectic and congested checkout area, paid for our blankets, and left. Or so we thought. Upon hitting the door an alarm went off. The security tag had not been removed from the blanket. We forced our way back into the savings mosh pit so we could have the tag removed. Upon trying to leave again we were met with the same result. As the cashier checked for a different tag she realized that we, in fact, had 2 blankets and she had only charged us for one. Still a good price but becoming less of a steal by the second. We paid for the second blanket and got out of there. Yesterday we returned in hopes of having better luck in the furniture department. We found only 1 item we liked furniture wise and it was marked as sold. We made our way around the store trying to find a little something to make the trip feel worthwhile, picked out a few glasses, then made our way to the register. We stood in front of a cashier whom was standing at her register, folding clothes, and completely ignoring us. I don't expect instantaneous service but as a long time customer service worker I know a little "Be right with you" goes a long way. However, I was happy with our glasses and it was less crowded this day so it didn't effect my patience. She tallied up the cost of the 3 glasses and began to bag them as I fumbled with the credit card machine. After a while of awkward silence and staring she made me aware that I had inserted the chip wrong with a chuckle. I paid and turned to grab my bag of glasses. The cashier had stacked all 3 glasses inside of one another in one single grocery bag and handed them to me as if I was carrying out a can of Pringles. I very gingerly brought my stack of glass out to the car and placed the bag on the seat with both hands so I could remove them from the bag and pad them with something in my car. As I set the bag down I heard the sound of loose glass rattling around. One of our glasses had broken due to our expert packer. It so happened to be my favorite of the bunch. After a period of deliberation of if it was worthwhile to shove ourselves back into the tiny store to receive a refund for a $2 cup we decided to just leave. There was only one and the damage had already been done. It was worth my time to give up on the few dollars lost and continue on with our day. A good cashier can make all of the difference when it comes to a customers experience and this one cost this nice little shop a pair of would be loyal customers.

Yes they take furniture u can schedule a pick up or you can bring it regular business hours. I would call in advance.
You have to call and ask first, sometimes they will but if they have too many they won’t accept them.
