If this is location I visited before it was possibly 1 of the smoothest most relaxed scrap environment I have ever been in! Chicago or Indiana included! And prices aren't bad either!

They only take non ferrous metals. Copper, aluminum etc. You would have to take it to somewhere like metro that buys steel. Generally a water heater will bring you about $5
Aluminium can's are acceptable smashed or in smashed. Non furious metals only, copper, aluminium, brass, stainless, motors, coils, car batteries.
