Play golf here 2x a week- love the course. Decided to try the restaurant (Tavern 19). Arguably the worst decision I’ve ever made. Wait staff is near non existent, and the food should be famous for how bad it is. Calamari is just fried dough, and the burger is a frozen hockey puck that tasted like it was cooked on the exhaust of a diesel truck. I’ve had better experiences eating at gas stations off of I-95. The dead give away should’ve been the hoard of golfers just drinking, guess you can’t mess up a Coor’s light too badly. But seriously, don’t go here.

So was in the area and decide to stop and get something to eat with my daughter last Sunday. When we walked in we were greeted rite away told to sit where ever we liked, then waited about 10 to 15 minutes before the server even came to us didn't get her name do to the fact she didn't give it all I can say she was young and skinny and gave the impression she didn't want to be there she was very antisocial. We ordered nachos to start took almost 30 minutes to come out. There was another girl there she was wearing a pink shirt all I can say is thank God for her she was very helpful and you could see she took pride in her job I even had to ask her if she was are server she even told me know and ask who started serving you. Long story short she was great wanted to tip her out but couldn't get her attention and we had to leave. Normally I would always leave atleast 20 percent or more but the service was so bad I didn't feel the other girl deserved it so I only left 15 percent this was at lunch. I will say the food was acually pretty good though. Only problem good food doesn't make up for bad service.
