Stay away. Seeing 4.1 stars for nail salon these days is not very reassuring; however, I decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and get my nails done since I just moved to the area and am trying to find a new place. The best part about my experience here was the massage. I can honestly say the BAIT AND SWITCH tactic is real with this company! Let me give you some background, I called and set up an appointment for 4:15pm and was interested when they hung up the phone without asking for my name, phone number, etc. That's fine though, not a big deal, everyone has their own unique way of handling scheduling. After an interesting experience upon entering and the unique atmosphere of the salon, I was seated in a chair that was not ready for any sort of pedicure. There was no running water and no liner in the bin. Interesting, I assumed maybe they were understaffed (despite the staff members that were reclining in the chairs next to me). They finally get the water up and running and it was cold, since I am not a controversial person, I let this go, it's really not a big deal. I told my technician that I wanted regular polish for my toes that fell under a package deal (pedicure & manicure for $63.00). He proceeded to argue with me and say I need gel. After going back and forth multiple times, (RED FLAG - YOU SHOULD NEVER HAVE TO ARGUE FOR WHAT YOU WANT WHEN YOU ARE PAYING FOR THE SERVICE), I let it go. I thought it was probably the package I said I wanted and that he was looking out for me. It goes downhill from here, every time I asked the technician to fix something, he simply said he would "file it." My French nails (that you pay extra for) are uneven, not completed, due to him refusing to fix it and filing things. Here's where the bait and switch comes in. I finally finished after what felt like forever of disagreements and receiving the opposite of what I was asking for. I get up to the cash register and that $63.00 package deal I signed up for was suddenly $103.00! I looked at him and said how can the price jump that high? I did not sign up for that. He said "you did the gel pedicure, not included in that price." WHAT, I looked at him and said "no, I said I wanted regular polish YOU said gel." He shrugged and said "gel last longer." To which my response was "I do not care if it lasts longer that is not what I asked for, and I didn't want it." This of course caught another workers attention who asked what the problem was, and I should've explained it, but I said no worries the worker will take care of it. He explained to her and her response was "I apologize for the confusion." Which I do appreciate the apology, I give her props for that. However, locking someone in at a specific price and then overcharging them $40.00 is not a great way to run your business, especially since nothing said gel was extra in regards to that package. I may be out the money; however, I do know that I am never returning.

I got so lucky today to walk in and have MIA!!!!!!!!!!! Beat dip I’ve ever had. She is SO good! I have another tech that I really like at another salon, but I needed a quick service today. I will be back for my next dip from Mia!!
