Cheryl's is a must. She makes you feel right at home. Her mac-n-cheese is on point, my absolute favorite on her menu and it taste just as good heated up the next day. Her portion sizes are enough for 2 people. My husband loves the collard greens and fried fish, pretty much the entire menu. You can't get food like her's anywhere else, that's what makes it so unique. We travel almost an hour away every few weeks to eat from there. Go and see for yourself, you won't be disappointed.

I placed a very large order and spent $100 in this restaurant. Waited over an hour and 15 minutes to get home and there was hair tangled in the food. I called Cheryl and requested a refund and immediately told my family to stop eating. I brought the food back. She then refused to give me a refund and proceeded to call the police on me because I insisted I wanted my refund and no longer wanted any food from her establishment. The police arrived and agreed that I should be granted a refund for the whole order being that I brought all of the food back and it was clearly inedible. She then began arguing and going back and forth with the police that SHE called on ME. I understand things happen and no one is perfect. But you cannot treat paying customers like that and refuse to accept that you were wrong. She needs to do better for her business and the community she is serving. Would not recommend. Very unprofessional and I never leave reviews! But for this I will.

I finally got to get food from Cheryl’s Fried Fish. I ordered 2 fish, and 2 sides. I chose greens and yams. It was ready in about 10 minutes, a generous portion, and everything was delicious!! Service was kind & considerate.
